| This is my contract with and pledge to the voters whom I ask to elect, or re-elect me to congress. I sign it willingly and acknowledge that it is a pledge which binds me to work for my constituents, only as agreed below: 1. I will actively support and work with all other members of congress who sign this pledge to draft a constitutional amendment, within 30 days of being sworn into office in 2011. The amendment will require approval of registered American voters before any congressional bill becomes law. This approval will be achieved through online voting, which will be open to all registered American voters. Any bill not supported by a majority of American voters, through their online votes, will not become law. 2. If I am a current member of congress, I am asking for your re-election vote. I pledge that my priority in congress from this day forward will be the constitutional amendment described in number 1. Effectively immediately, I will work on the amendment until it is passed by congress and ratified by the states. Until the amendment is passed by congress and ratified by the states, I will not vote for any other bill that serves to increase the national debt, or increase taxes on any American. Any bills on which I vote will serve to reduce the national debt, reduce the national budget and decrease the taxes of all Americans, immediately. 3. I will not vote for any bill that contains an earmark. 4. I will not talk to any lobbyist groups as long as I am a member of congress. 5. I will refuse to take part in any congressional discussion that is not broadcast live on cable television, or recorded in full on video tape. If any of those sessions are video recorded, that video must be made available to the public within 24 hours of the recorded congressional discussion. 6.
